Dos millones de británicos firman petición por la revocación del «brexit»

Dos millones de personas firmaron una petición para que el Parlamento Británico revoque el artículo 50 y permanezca en la Unión Europea. La web oficial donde se están recogiendo las firmas dejó de funcionar este jueves (21.03.2019) por la mañana por el aumento constante de firmas, según la Comisión de Peticiones al Gobierno y Parlamento de Reino Unido.

La ministra principal escocesa, Nicola Sturgeon, ha invitado a sus seguidores en Twitter a firmar la petición si sienten que la primera ministra, Theresa May, «no está haciendo caso de sus peticiones».

EL ALCANCE MÁS ALTO DE LA PLATAFORMA

La Comisión de Peticiones ha informado en esta plataforma que la tasa de firmas ha sido la más alta que el sitio ha tenido desde su creación, por lo que han tenido que hacer algunos cambios para que la web permanezca estable.

Al mediodía, había 700.000 firmas; a última hora de la tarde ya eran más de dos millones de británicos que exigían permanecer en la UE. Si llegan a las 100.000 firmas, el Parlamento debe debatir.
